Tanzir Kochi: Inception meeting of ‘Climate resilient community’ project to improve food security and sustainable livelihoods held at Shyamnagar in Satkhira district.
This meeting was organized by non-government organization Faith in Action with the assistance of Canadian Foodgrains Bank [CFGB] through World Renew on Wednesday (11 December 2024) morning.
Shyamnagar Upazila Nirbahi Officer Roni Khatun was present as the chief guest in this meeting, while Nripen Baidya, founder and Executive Director of Faith in Action presided over the meeting.
Abdullah Al Rifat, Assistant Commissioner (Land), Dr. Subrata Kumar Biswas, Veterinary Surgeon of Shyamnagar Upazila, G.M Masudul Alam, Chairman of 12 no Gabura Union Parishad, Samuel Monir, President of Shyamnagar Upazila Press Club, Bilal Hossain, President of Sundarban Press Club, Al Imran Executive Director of CEDiO, UP member Sabina Yasmin, Hosnewara Khatun & Farida Khatun spoke among others.
Project Manager Mukut Francis Halder presented the goals of this project. He said that, this project will be implemented at 12 No Gabura Union, Shyamnagar, Satkhira.
President, Founder and Executive Director of Faith in Action Nripen Baidya said that, People of Gabura are suffering from climate change. Here we will work to improve the livelihoods of the people in accordance with the philosophy, vision, mission and commitments of Faith in Action. We hope that everyone will cooperate us in this program from every places.
